Who: Directed by Jason Russell, Bobby Bailey, and Laren Poole
What: Three young filmmakers from California went on a trip to Northern Uganda where Africa’s longest running war was taking place. In Uganda, the Lord Resistance Army was abducting children and using them as soldiers. Invisible Children tells the story of the child soldiers as well as the story of the children, called ‘Night Commuters,’ who were running away trying to avoid these rebel armies and potential abduction.
