Description
The Global Film Initiative is a non-profit organization committed to promoting cross-cultural understanding through cinema.
GFI has four complementary programs (Acquisition, Distribution, Education, and Granting) to support both the production of authentic and accessible stories created in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, and the distribution of these films throughout schools and leading cultural institutions in the U.S. Check the Global Lens calendar to see where the films are playing near you!
Global Lens is an annual touring film series presented by The Global Film Initiative. Global Lens 2008 showcases ten feature films from Argentina, China, Croatia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Lebanon, the Philippines, and South Africa.
