IBM Grant Programs
To make the most effective use of IBM resources and expertise, IBM has selected priority issues and key initiatives for investment. Our main focus is Education. We also provide smaller grants in the areas of Adult Education and Workforce Development, Arts and Culture and Communities in Need. In addition, we provide opportunities for IBM employees to support their communities and the issues they care about through Employee Giving.

Intel in Your Community
Intel Corporation is committed to maintaining and enhancing the quality of life in the communities where the company has a major presence. Intel will support additional programs that improve the quality of life in its site communities. These requests will be evaluated on the basis of the services offered and the program's impact on the community; its focus on diversity and multiculturalism; its impact on the youth of our community; the cost-effectiveness of the program and its ability to be effectively measured and replicated; and the potential for Intel employee involvement.

ITVS Funding Resource
ITVS funds, distributes and promotes new programs primarily for public television. We work with independent producers to create and present programs that take creative risks, advance issues and represent points of view not usually seen on public or commercial television. ITVS is committed to programming that addresses the needs of underserved and underrepresented audiences. We look for programs that bring new audiences to public television and that expand civic participation by bringing diverse voices into the public sphere.

Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities
Mass Humanities supports public humanities projects. Public humanities projects bring historical, cultural or ethical perspectives to bear on topics and issues of interest to our communities. These projects can take many different forms, but they have the following characteristics in common. They: * Engage participants in thinking critically about fundamental questions of value, purpose, and meaning. * Promote better understanding of ourselves and others, past and present. * Are conducted in a spirit of open and informed inquiry. * Involve partnerships between community organizations, cultural institutions, and scholars in the humanities.
