Find films. Looking for media in line with your message? Our documentary and shorts database has over 6,000 films on the most pressing issues of the day. Search by topic, contact filmmakers and buy or rent films online. Learn by example: MediaRights News features the latest success stories from cutting-edge filmmakers and activists. Check out the Media That Matters Film Festival for the best in independent social-issue shorts.

Find partners. Wondering what other filmmakers, activists and nonprofits care about the issues that are most important to you? Search our database of over 10,000 members and over 2,000 organizations to find potential collaborators, funders and outreach partners. Recruit filmmakers to make a film for your organization!

Let us do the work. Every year MediaRights distributes a collection of sixteen inspiring shorts through the Media That Matters Film Festival, reaching millions through online streaming, national TV broadcasts, community screenings and DVD distribution. Buy the DVD and host your own screening – we'll provide everything you need to promote and evaluate the impact of the event. Invite a MediaRights staff person to organize a screening, panel or workshop tailor-made for your organization.
